Tabbouleh is a Lebanese salad consisting mainly of parsley and coriander. This salad is refreshing and fragrant. It goes perfectly with a barbecue or a picnic and can be served for other occasions.
The extra thing:
- Use lime for even more flavor.
- Serve a plate of tabbouleh accompanied by falafel, mouttabal, hummus for a typical Lebanese dish.
Ingredients
40 g bulgur | |
2 yellow lemon pour le jus | |
2 tbsp olive oil | |
1 shallot | |
20 g coriander fraƮche | |
20g parsley persil plat frais | |
1 tomato | |
10 g fresh mint |

Remove the stems from the mint and set aside.
Rinse and dry the herbs, set aside. |

Peel the shallot, cut it in 2 and put it in the blender with the fresh herbs. Mix then put everything in a salad bowl.
Cut the tomato into small cubes and add it to the salad. |

Cook the bulgur in a large volume of salted water for 10 minutes (refer to the time indicated on the package).
Rinse and drain the bulgur. Add the bulgur to the salad. |

Squeeze the juice from the lemons and add it to the tabbouleh.
Pour the olive oil. |

Adjust the seasoning and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
