Tabbouleh is a Lebanese salad consisting mainly of parsley and coriander. This salad is refreshing and fragrant. It goes perfectly with a barbecue or a picnic and can be served for other occasions.

The extra thing:

  • Use lime for even more flavor.
  • Serve a plate of tabbouleh accompanied by falafel, mouttabal, hummus for a typical Lebanese dish.

Ingredients

40 g bulgur
2 yellow lemon pour le jus
2 tbsp olive oil
1 shallot
20 g coriander fraƮche
20g parsley persil plat frais
1 tomato
10 g fresh mint

Instructions

Remove the stems from the mint and set aside.
Rinse and dry the herbs, set aside.

Peel the shallot, cut it in 2 and put it in the blender with the fresh herbs. Mix then put everything in a salad bowl.
Cut the tomato into small cubes and add it to the salad.

Cook the bulgur in a large volume of salted water for 10 minutes (refer to the time indicated on the package).
Rinse and drain the bulgur. Add the bulgur to the salad.

Squeeze the juice from the lemons and add it to the tabbouleh.
Pour the olive oil.

Adjust the seasoning and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
To serve.
