Mouttabal is a Lebanese eggplant caviar. It is a light and delicious recipe.
1 portion corresponds to 25 cl of mouttabal.
The extra thing:
- Serve it on a plate with falafels, tabbouleh, hummus, chicken chawarma and pita breads.
- You can serve the Mouttabal as it is or with crushed tomatoes and / or a drizzle of olive oil, freshly chopped coriander.

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
Wash the eggplants and remove the peduncle. |

Cut the eggplants in half lengthwise and make a grid using a knife.
Place the eggplants on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about 40 minutes. |

Turn the eggplants regularly so that the skin grills and the meat cooks without being grilled.
