Introduction

Korean marinated beef is usually cooked on a Korean barbecue, which is served in the middle of the table. It is a slightly sweet and very fragrant recipe. This is a dish that requires a long marinade time (3 hours) and needs to be prepared in advance.
The extra thing:
- Add carrots cut into julienne in the marinade and pine nuts to serve.
- Use nashi instead of pears.

2 clove of garlic | |
2cm ginger | |
1 shallot | |
3 tbsp mirin | |
3 tbsp sesame oil | |
7 tbsp salty soy sauce | |
4 tbsp sugar | |
1 tbsp untoasted sesame | |
300g rump steak |
Instructions

Peel the garlic, shallot, ginger, set aside.
Peel and core the pear, set aside. |

In a mixer or blender, pour the soy sauce, mirin, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, shallot and pear.
Mix finely. |

Put this marinade in an airtight dish and pour the sesame seeds.
Cut the beef into thin slices and place in the airtight dish. Work the marinade in with your fingers. Reserve in the refrigerator for 3 hours. |

Drain with a slotted spoon and reserve the marinade.
Cook the meat in a frying pan or griddle or Korean barbecue without fat. Serve with a little marinade. |
