Introduction

The beef tomme arugula toast is Italian inspired. It is made up of crushed tomatoes, thin slices of just seared beef, tomme cheese, peppers, arugula and flavored with basil. Change of scenery guaranteed.
The extra thing:
- Marinate the beef the night before in oil flavored with basil or thyme.
- Rub the toasted bread with garlic before making the slices.
Ingredients
100g rump steak | |
0.25 red bell pepper | |
100 g tomme | |
2 tomatoes | |
4 basil leaves | |
1 handful arugula | |
Vinaigrette | |
1 tbsp olive oil | |
4 slices country bread |
Instructions

Preheat the oven to the grill position and put the slices of bread to grill for 5 minutes.
Put the arugula in a deep plate and pour the vinaigrette, mix, season, set aside. |

Cut the tomatoes into small dice, reserve them on a plate and season. Chop the basil over the tomatoes and mix. To book.
Cut the bell pepper into julienne, set aside. |

Make shavings of tomme using a peeler, set aside.
Cut the beef into thin strips. |

Heat the pan with the olive oil on high, grill the slices of beef in it for 2 minutes, turning them over. Season, set aside.

Arrange the sandwiches by first placing the crushed tomatoes, arugula, bell pepper, grilled pieces of beef and shavings of tomme.
