This spinach with mustard recipe is a super flavorful Indian recipe. I cook Indian a lot and we especially like the spinach recipes. It is therefore natural that this recipe had a great success at home. It’s a vegan dish with mustard seeds and spices. It’s a super quick recipe. It would be a shame to do without.
The extra thing:
- Add chilli to taste
- Replace the shallots with onion
Ingredients
800 g fresh spinach | |
2 shallots | |
2 cloves of garlic | |
2 cm ginger | |
0.5 cc garam masala | |
1.5 tsp mustard seeds | |
3 tbsp peanut oil |
Instructions

Peel and chop the shallots, ginger and garlic together. To book.

Heat the oil in a large pan and brown the garlic / shallot / ginger mixture for about 3 to 4 minutes.
Add the garam masala and the mustard seeds and brown for 1mn. |

Add the spinach leaves, stirring until the leaves fall off.
Adjust the seasoning and serve |
