I had prepared this pasta dish with walnut cream with what I had left in the cupboards and the fridge. I must say that the nuts bring a lot of flavor to the pasta and it is a dish that is made super quickly. Not to be missed therefore.

Ingredients
300 g dry pasta | |
50g walnut kernels | |
2 clove of garlic | |
1 tsp basil | |
2 tbsp grated parmesan | |
2 tbsp heavy cream can be replaced by mascarpone |
Instructions

Cook pasta as directed on package.
Peel the garlic and remove the germ. |

In the bowl of a blender, add the garlic, walnut kernels, basil, grated parmesan and crème fraîche.
Mix everything to obtain a cream. Thin with a little water if the consistency is too thick. Adjust seasoning. |

When the pasta is cooked, put it back in the pan with the walnut cream. Mix and serve immediately.
