Introduction

This orange-lacquered filet mignon is an original sweet and savory dish. I really like to cook oranges than in savory dishes like here or here . And also sweet in this recipe and this one . It is really the star fruit of winter, full of sun and above all very delicious. This orange filet mignon recipe is easy, quick and delicious. The meat has marinated well in a sauce which I then use, once very reduced to lacquer the meat.

The extra thing:

  • Replace oranges with mandarins.
  • Serve with pasta, semolina or pan-fried vegetables.

Ingredients

1 pork tenderloin
1 orange for the zest
10 cl squeezed orange juice
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp rosemary powder
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp sherry vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp chilli powder

Instructions

Place the filet mignon and all the other ingredients in a freezer bag. Close and leave to marinate in the fridge for 3 to 4 hours.

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Drain and reserve the marinade.
Put the filet mignon in a dish and bake for about 15 minutes, the filet mignon should be at 70 ° C in the heart.

Pour the marinade into a saucepan and bring to high heat for 5 minutes so that the sauce reduces and thickens.

When the meat is cooked, coat it with the sauce and cut into slices. Return to the oven for 5 minutes. To serve.
