Crispy Hazelnut Waffles With Caramel Sauce

These crispy hazelnut waffles with caramel sauce are super quick to make. This is a simple appliance that does not need to rise unlike other waffle recipes.

1 serving is approximately 10 waffles.

For this recipe, I used:

  • A waffle plate

The extra thing:

  • Use roasted hazelnut powder
  • Serve with praline
  • Serve with whipped cream for even more indulgence
  • Even better with homemade salted butter caramel

Ingredients

100 g salted butter
250 g flour
1 sachet of baking powder
50 g ground hazelnuts
30 g of sugar
2 egg
20 cl of milk
15 cl of salted butter caramel
sunflower oil to grease the waffle iron

Instructions

Melt the butter in the microwave.
Beat the eggs in the milk.

Combine the flour, baking powder, ground hazelnuts and sugar in a salad bowl using a whisk.
Pour the milk / egg mixture into the bowl, continuing to mix to obtain a homogeneous mixture.

Grease the waffle iron and heat.
Pour in waffle batter and cook for the appropriate time. Renew until exhaustion.
Serve with caramel.
