Introduction

To share

This cod gratin with spinach and saffron is really super easy to make. I particularly like fish and spinach and this recipe brightens up that combination a bit more. The saffron brings a lot of flavor and delicacy to this gratin. This is a recipe made to make the most reluctant, big or small, eat fish and spinach. Plus it’s super quick to cook ;-).

The extra thing:

  • Serve with a salad for a balanced meal or with rice or potatoes for a more complete dish.
  • Add a little grated cheese for the greediest.

Ingredients

300g cod fillet
500 g fresh spinach ou surgelés
1 clove of garlic
1 dose saffron
20 cl liquid fresh cream
1 egg
15 g salted butter

Instructions

1
Peel and chop the garlic.
Melt the butter in a frying pan or skillet and brown the spinach and garlic for 5 minutes. Season then drain.
2
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Get out a gratin dish. Cut the cod loin into large cubes, place it in the gratin dish. Add the spinach and mix a little with a fork.
3
In a bowl, break the egg and mix with the liquid cream and the saffron to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Season. Pour this mixture over the fish with spinach.
4
Bake for 30 mins. To serve.
