This chocolate pistachio frozen dessert is super easy to make. The association of chocolate and pistachio is a sure bet and the crunchy praline as the basis of this dessert brings even more gluttony. It’s even better with homemade ice cream . The ice cream should be a little soft but not melted either.
Ingredients
1 liter of chocolate ice cream
1 liter pistachio ice cream
200 g praline chocolate type Pralinoise
40 g gavottes (lace pancakes)
20 cl whipped cream |
Instructions
1
|
Melt the chocolate in the microwave at medium power (500W) in increments of 30 seconds until the chocolate is melted but not very hot.
|
2
|
Put the gavottes in a freezer bag, close it and break the cookies in it by tapping gently with a rolling pin for example (this makes it possible not to put them everywhere).
|
3
|
Incorporate the broken gavottes into the melted chocolate to obtain a homogeneous and thick mixture.
Line a baking sheet with cling film and pour the chocolate + gavottes over it, smoothing with a spatula. Film and reserve in the refrigerator for 2 hours. This praline base must have hardened. |
4
|
Pour the chocolate ice cream into a cake tin, smoothing with a spoon and tamping down.
Then add the pistachio ice cream to the mold, making sure to smooth. Reserve in the freezer for at least 4 hours. |
5
|
Take out of the freezer and unmold the ice cream.
Cut the biscuit base a little larger than the ice cream to serve as a base. |
6
|
Place a few tips of whipped cream on the biscuit base and place the ice cream on top.
Add a few dabs of whipped cream on top. To serve. |
