This pistachio chocolate cake is a super simple dessert to make and it’s the cake to make when you’re short on time. The combination of pistachios and chocolate always works just as well, the crunchiness of the pistachios makes this sweetness interesting for a dessert or a snack.
Ingredients

180 g sugar | |
150 g flour | |
100 g butter | |
70 g pistachios natures hachées | |
1 tbsp pistachio paste | |
1 pinch salt | |
100 g dark chocolate | |
50 g salted butter froid |
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200°C and grease a cake tin.
Separate the egg whites from the yolks and beat the egg whites with the pinch of salt. Reserve the whipped egg whites. Blanch the egg yolks with the sugar to obtain a frothy mixture and incorporate the pistachio paste. |

Melt the butter in the microwave or in a saucepan.
Add the flour, 50g of chopped pistachios and the melted butter. Incorporate the egg whites using a spatula to obtain a homogeneous mixture. |

Pour into the cake tin and bake for 40 minutes.
Remove the cake from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. When the cake has cooled, unmold. |

Melt the chocolate in the microwave.
When the chocolate has melted, add the very cold butter and mix with a fork to obtain a homogeneous glaze. |

Spread the frosting over the cake and sprinkle with the remaining chopped pistachios.
