Introduction

To share

Four quarters with apples is a Breton specialty composed, as its name suggests, of as much butter, flour, eggs and sugar. Adding apples makes this specialty more tender.

The extra thing:

  • Replace apples with pears.
  • Cut into squares to serve as a sweet.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon.
  • Grate the apples instead of slicing them.

Ingredients

190 g salted butter
190 g sugar
190 g flour
4 egg
2 apple
1 packet of vanilla sugar
0.5 sachet baking powder

Instructions

1
Preheat the oven to 190°C.
Melt the butter in a bowl in the microwave for 20s.
2
In a bowl, break the eggs, pour the sugar and whisk.
Add the flour, melted butter, vanilla sugar and yeast.
Mix to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
3
Peel and cut the apples into slices.
Add apples to cake batter.
4
Grease the mold to miss.
Mix and pour the batter into the mold to miss.
Bake for 50 minutes.
5
The cake is done when pierced with a knife and the blade remains dry.
Let cool, serve.
