Introduction
To share
Four quarters with apples is a Breton specialty composed, as its name suggests, of as much butter, flour, eggs and sugar. Adding apples makes this specialty more tender.
The extra thing:
- Replace apples with pears.
- Cut into squares to serve as a sweet.
- Add a pinch of cinnamon.
- Grate the apples instead of slicing them.
Ingredients
190 g salted butter | |
190 g sugar | |
190 g flour | |
4 egg | |
2 apple | |
1 packet of vanilla sugar | |
0.5 sachet baking powder |
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 190°C.
Melt the butter in a bowl in the microwave for 20s. |

In a bowl, break the eggs, pour the sugar and whisk.
Add the flour, melted butter, vanilla sugar and yeast. Mix to obtain a homogeneous mixture. |

Peel and cut the apples into slices.
Add apples to cake batter. |

Grease the mold to miss.
Mix and pour the batter into the mold to miss. Bake for 50 minutes. |

The cake is done when pierced with a knife and the blade remains dry.
Let cool, serve. |
