Mr N. is very fond of almond pains au chocolat. It’s a quick recipe to make and perfect for the weekend. Pains au chocolat with almonds is a great way to use stale chocolate breads. They are garnished with almond cream and sprinkled with slivered almonds and icing sugar. Pure indulgence.
The extra thing:
- Replace some of the sugar with vanilla sugar
- It’s even better with homemade chocolate breads
