Introduction
To share
Digestive Biscuit are small English biscuits. Originally they were made of baking soda, which gave them digestive properties. These little treats are delicious to steep in tea.
1 serving makes about 20 cookies.
Ingredients
50 g wholemeal flour | |
50g flour | |
120g rolled oats | |
130 g salted butter at room temperature | |
50 g brown sugar | |
30g brown sugar | |
1 tsp baking powder | |
1 pinch baking soda |
Instructions

Mix all the elements except the butter together finely.
Pour the mixture into a bowl and stir in the butter. Mix with your hands to obtain a homogeneous mixture and form a ball. Wrap and refrigerate for 60 minutes. |

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Remove the dough from the refrigerator, remove the film and spread the dough between 2 sheets of parchment paper. Roll out to a thickness of about 3mm. |

Cut out the biscuits with a cookie cutter (about 6 to 8 cm in diameter).
Prick with a fork and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. The cookies should be golden and still soft. |

Let cool on a wire rack to harden.
