Oven Roasted Turkey Leg is a super simple dish to make. At home we really like poultry, especially thanks to this small producer not far from home. Before trying the turkey, we were satisfied with the chicken because we didn’t find much taste in this poultry. What a mistake, it’s delicious provided you find the right product.
The turkey here is melty, flavorful and well roasted. It is a family dish to share and does not require long preparation. The meat is flavored with herbs and maple syrup, which gives it a little exoticism while simplicity.
Ingredients
1 turkey leg (ici elle pesait 1,2 kg) | |
100g maple syrup | |
1 tbsp peanut oil | |
1 tbsp salty soy sauce | |
2 tbsp rosemary | |
1 tbsp garlic powder | |
2 shallot | |
1 tbsp dry white wine | |
1 kg rattles ou petites pommes de terre | |
1 tbsp olive oil |

Clean the potatoes and cut them into wedges. Peel and chop the shallots. Add the shallots to the potatoes.

Pour the shallots and potatoes together in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, toss so that the potatoes are coated with oil. To book.

Preheat the oven to 200°C.
In a blender, pour the rosemary, garlic powder, maple syrup, white wine, maple syrup and neutral oil together. Blend quickly to mix well. |

Coat the turkey leg with this mixture on all sides. Place the turkey leg on the potatoes, salt and bake for 45 to 50 minutes. The turkey thigh should be golden brown and the potatoes tender. Serve with the cooking juices.
