Introduction

To share

The brownie is a typical American cake. This recipe is particularly less fatty than others thanks to the butter in smaller quantities.

The extra thing:

  • Replace the pecans with macadamia nuts or walnuts.
  • It can also be made without nuts.
  • Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

200 g dark chocolate
4 egg
90 g salt crystal butter
150g pecans
165 g sugar
50g brown sugar
2 packets of vanilla sugar
50g flour
2 tsp cocoa powder

Instructions

1
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Line a baking pan with parchment paper, extending the paper by about 5cm.
2
Crush the chocolate in a bowl, add the butter cut into pieces and melt in the microwave at medium power until it melts (about 2-3 minutes).
3
In a bowl, break the eggs and whisk them with the sugar so that the mixture whitens.
Pour in the melted chocolate and flour then beat to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Add the pecans and mix.
Pour the batter into the mold and bake for about 45 minutes.
4
Check for doneness by sticking a knife into the cake, the blade should come out clean.
Unmold the cake and let it cool.
5
Dust the cake with cocoa powder.
Cut brownie squares and serve.
