The brownie is a typical American cake. This recipe is particularly less fatty than others thanks to the butter in smaller quantities.
The extra thing:
- Replace the pecans with macadamia nuts or walnuts.
- It can also be made without nuts.
- Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients
200 g dark chocolate | |
4 egg | |
90 g salt crystal butter | |
150g pecans | |
165 g sugar | |
50g brown sugar | |
2 packets of vanilla sugar | |
50g flour | |
2 tsp cocoa powder |
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Line a baking pan with parchment paper, extending the paper by about 5cm. |

Crush the chocolate in a bowl, add the butter cut into pieces and melt in the microwave at medium power until it melts (about 2-3 minutes).

In a bowl, break the eggs and whisk them with the sugar so that the mixture whitens.
Pour in the melted chocolate and flour then beat to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Add the pecans and mix. Pour the batter into the mold and bake for about 45 minutes. |

Check for doneness by sticking a knife into the cake, the blade should come out clean.
Unmold the cake and let it cool. |

Dust the cake with cocoa powder.
Cut brownie squares and serve. |
